Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help to support orderly traffic flow for employees, guests, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy questions, and provide detailed shift activity reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
