Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access, identify unusual activity, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established communication and emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for maintenance issues, unsecured access points, and other security-related or operational concerns.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activity, incidents, and access control exceptions, and assist with visitor processing, key control, and other assigned post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
