Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government location, where you will drive throughout the site, conduct routine armed patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, disturbances, and/or medical events by maintaining visible presence, communicating clearly, and assisting with directed response actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
