Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
- Screen people, bags, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
- Verify identification, credentials, access permissions, and/or delivery documentation before allowing entry to restricted or designated areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through the appropriate channels.
- Support access control operations and perform regular observations of entry points and surrounding areas to help maintain order and help to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
