Security Officer Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen people, bags, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, access permissions, and/or delivery documentation before allowing entry to restricted or designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through the appropriate channels.
• Support access control operations and perform regular observations of entry points and surrounding areas to help maintain order and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
