Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related protocols at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, first responders, and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, checkpoints, and public-facing areas, verify permitted access, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site expectations.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with crowd management and traffic direction, and providing clear information to site personnel and/or the public during disruptions or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
