Oversees the daily shift information and documentation generated and received by the Surveillance Agents. Processes recommendations based on incidents concerning Gaming Activity and Department Personnel. Resolve personal employee problems with listening and counseling methods. Meets with the Surveillance Manager and executive Director on a regular basis to address observations, relative to gaming compliance and Surveillance Department operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
Protect Tribal Assets as related to gaming, to ensure the honesty and integrity of all Gaming Operations conducted by the Tribe
Become intimately familiar with Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures of all departments in the gaming facility
Conduct observations of the interior of the Casino property, concentrating on the gaming assets. Identifying potential problems and risks with respect to fraud detection and prevention
Assist in developing and maintaining a department file/computer system so that all information, reports and evidence is properly tracked and is readily available to the ACGC Management
Conduct Departmental Control Inspections to validate that Casino Department Personnel are complying with selected controls and policies. All violations are documented to identify overall Department Compliance
Verifies employee identification, license status, and access status on a regular basis
GAMING EXPERIENCE REQUIREDQualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED is required
Some Surveillance Gaming experience is required
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 miles, climbing , stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and /or carry otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
