Security Officer Patrol Examiner

As a Security Officer Patrol Examiner in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, sales floors, common areas, stock areas, and perimeter points, with attention to security-related concerns and customer assistance.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor assigned areas for operational issues such as blocked exits, damaged property, and/or suspicious behavior, and relay relevant information to management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
