Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, and assist with access control, visitor interactions, and security-related concerns across the location.
• Support a professional environment by observing and documenting unusual activity, communicating with campus contacts and/or emergency personnel, and following Allied Universal post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
