As a Security Officer Armed Driver Enhanced Part Time in Plano, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and delivery activity to help to identify suspicious behavior, support access control practices, and report security-related concerns.
• Support loss prevention and retail operations by observing customer and employee activity, providing a visible presence, and following post orders for armed assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
