Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with school personnel and first responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, hallways, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and common areas while following post instructions and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directional needs, enforcing location rules in a respectful manner, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
