Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform access control duties, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access procedures for personnel, deliveries, and contractors.
• Observe site conditions and report hazards, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
