As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Piscataway, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support security-related operations in a technology-focused location by communicating with site contacts, observing equipment and infrastructure areas, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
