- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with established screening protocols and post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
- Support access control and screening operations for a busy logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and/or following visitor processing procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
