- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns, equipment issues, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Support daily operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or hazard-related observations, and reporting security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
