Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at the transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and document observations through required reports and logs.
- Assist with emergency response activities, crowd management, and/or access control procedures while supporting order throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
