Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or property-related concerns according to post guidelines.
- Support a professional presence at a commercial real estate location by communicating clearly with occupants and guests, following post orders, and helping to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
