Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations or require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local staff, and/or first responders during outages, equipment issues, weather-related events, and other utility-related disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
