DESCRIPTION:

Growing retail business seeking a reliable and professional security officer to oversee multiple store locations.

Responsibilities include maintaining order, preventing theft, monitoring employee and customer activity, opening and closing procedures, handling disturbances, and ensuring overall safety of the premises.

The ideal candidate is street-smart, observant, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

Duties:
Conduct regular walkthroughs of store locations
Monitor customer and employee activity
Prevent theft, loitering, and disruptive behavior
Respond to incidents and document events
Coordinate with management regarding security concerns
Assist with store openings and closings
Maintain a visible professional presence
Occasional travel with ownership for business-related assignments

Requirements:
Security experience preferred
corrections officer, or retail loss prevention experience is a plus
Valid drivers license
Reliable transportation
Professional appearance
Strong communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Available evenings and weekends when needed
