As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen people and/or materials, and support security-related protocols that keep operations moving smoothly. Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related screening procedures and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and/or visitor information to help support authorized entry and controlled movement throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting potential concerns related to access control, screening activity, and/or facility operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
