What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Investigator include but are not limited to:
- This position is a regulatory position.
- Work in a regulatory capacity and ensure the racino is following rules, regulations, laws and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure racino operations comply with all statutory and administrative provisions.
- Respond to incidents occurring on site, complete reports and maintain a compliance database for reports of suspicious activity, unusual incidents, and all other reportable incidents.
- Complete background investigations on racino employees.
- Facilitate the licensing process for racino gaming employees.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and racino staff.
- Congratulate jackpot winners.
- Observe Intercept process for winners and create Intercept Accounts.
- Assist patrons enroll in the Time Out Ohio Program and provide program information.
- Use surveillance equipment and ensure proper surveillance coverage of all Video Lottery Terminals in the racino facility.
- Monitor the floor Drop and ensure compliance with established procedure.
- Monitor all Video Lottery Terminal floor moves and ensure compliance with established procedure.
- Receive incoming Video Lottery Terminals and verify shipping security seals, serial numbers, description of the machines, and manufacturer name.
- Verify Video Lottery Terminals to be removed and confirm manufacturer name and serial number.
- Work as a team player to assist the team in completing its goals and objectives.
- Learn to use Lottery-specific software applications for daily job responsibilities.
- Work in a location that is open 24 hours per day/7 days per week.
- Perform other duties and work on special projects.
Part-time variable work schedule as scheduled on any day from Sunday-Saturday; schedule can include any shift in a 24 hours per day/7 days per week operation
30 months training or 30 months investigative experience with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; valid driver's license.
- Or Completion of associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice or in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 12 months experience conducting investigations &/or inspections; valid driver's license.
- Or 30 months training or 30 months experience as Investigator Assistant, 26210 with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; valid driver's license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
