A Field Investigator in the security industry is responsible for conducting detailed investigations to gather facts and evidence for various types of inquiries. They generally work for private security companies, law enforcement agencies, insurance companies, or legal firms. Their tasks may include surveillance, interviews, information gathering, evidence collection, document review, and report writing.
