A Security Guard is a professional who is responsible for maintaining safety and security within a designated area. A Security Guard must be vigilant, reliable, and have the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Regardless of prior positions, all Security Guards should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and receive on-the-job training to learn specific security procedures and laws related to their job.
