Security Guard Jobs in North Carolina
A Security Guard is a professional who is responsible for maintaining safety and security within a designated area. A Security Guard must be vigilant, reliable, and have the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. These roles provide valuable experience in security and law enforcement procedures, enhancing their suitability for the role of a Security Guard. In some cases, individuals may start in entry-level security positions, such as a Security Patrol Officer or a Loss Prevention Agent, to gain experience in the field. Regardless of prior positions, all Security Guards should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and receive on-the-job training to learn specific security procedures and laws related to their job.
