The Role:
The Control Center Supervisor oversees the Control Center operations of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) to ensure the effectiveness of the safety and security of all individuals on the property. This position supervises the daily activities and service levels of all Control Center Ambassadors and acts as a liaison for the Security Operations team.

- Oversee The Control Center Operation:
- Ensure effective control center staffing and service levels for all internal and external customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Monitor fire panels, text and voice-based emergency notifications, area announcements and evacuations.
- Schedule Customer Safety blackout periods.
- Assist with the creation and training of Customer Safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee all lost and found property and records retention for compliance.
- Lead An Extraordinary Team:
- Ensure Control Center Ambassadors perform to the set standards of service and technical job responsibilities.
- Assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline staff, address complaints and resolve problems when they occur.
- Oversee the scheduling and tracking of Customer Safety on-call hours for departmental efficiency.
- Participate in the selection, hiring and training of staff.
- Train Control Center Ambassadors to perform system user access, alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, audit control and daily reporting.
- Administer Systems and Controls:
- Administer iTrak and ProWatch software applications.
- Establish Ambassador and building partner user accounts and access rights. Program access points and alarms.
- Perform audit controls. Troubleshoot and report issues with the system and data.
- Provide user training as needed.
- High School Diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading in a dispatch/control center setting
- Security or law enforcement dispatch experience is preferred
- Ability to type 35 words per minute
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to valuing differences among individuals and being inclusive
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; experience with time and attendance, investigative, surveillance, radio or mass notification is a plus
- Must have a valid Nevada drivers license and maintain it during employment
- Must be able to work varied hours and shifts to include evening, overnight and holidays when necessary
