Activities and Safety Director

The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a HIGH ENERGY, RELATIONSHIP/CULTURE BUILDER to serve as the district

Activities and Safety Director for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

The SALARY RANGE will be commensurate with experience/qualifications and be a minimum of $75,000 per year.

Prefernce will be given to candidates with three (3) or more years of sucessfull public school leadership - preferably in the area of Activities/Athletics and/or Safety.

The unique FOUR-DAY work week, with Fridays being the weekday school is not in-session, allows for an appealing schedule – with a consistent three (3) day weekend.

This position is a TWELVE (12) MONTH contracted commitment, with the four (4) day-week expectation, and would begin on July 1st, 2026. Successful applicants shall submit a completed District Application, current Resume, Cover Letter, three (3) Letters of Support, proof of Certification (or eligibility thereof) and anything else that would support the candidate's application process.
