Security Officer - Overnight - East Side

As a Security Officer in Madison, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building interiors, trailer yards, gates, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as conditions vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, report unusual activity, and support security-related operations involving shipments, vehicles, and high-traffic access areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
