Pay Rate: $21.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing site activity, verifying permissions when required, and reporting unusual behavior and/or conditions.
• Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by assisting with site rules, monitoring for policy violations, and communicating clearly with management, employees, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
