- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, docks, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and support the flow of employees, visitors, and/or drivers while following post instructions and applicable facility rules.
- Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
