Security Officer - Afternoon Shift

As a Security Officer in Waukesha, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
• Complete routine reports on daily activity, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns, and help support order at the location through visible presence and professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
