- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
- Complete routine reports on daily activity, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns, and help support order at the location through visible presence and professional interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
