Job Schedule:
Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with check-in processes, directions, and policy questions while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
- Support medical and behavioral health locations by observing for escalated behavior, contacting appropriate personnel when needed, and following post orders for incident response and/or assistance requests.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
