Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Guard in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing routine logs, and communicating observed hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational disruptions to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
