Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer Entry Point Security in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
• Support store operations by monitoring foot traffic, observing for unusual activity, and assisting with crowd management during busy periods and/or special events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
