As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, assist with crowd and line management, and provide directions or general assistance to the public.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and suspicious behavior, helping to support a professional environment for shoppers, tenants, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
