- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification, credentials, deliveries, and/or vehicle information in line with post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
- Support traffic and entry flow for personnel, vendors, and shipments, helping to maintain orderly access and reporting policy violations, equipment issues, and/or operational disruptions as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
