Security Officer Access Control

As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a professional technology-focused location.
• Greet employees, visitors, and vendors, assist with sign-in processes, issue access credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
• Answer questions, provide directions, manage incoming calls and/or visitor inquiries, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding front desk activity and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and support badge control, package handling, and other reception-related duties according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
