- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
- Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and/or access activity from a dispatch post, and relay information to onsite personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Receive, prioritize, and document calls for service, incidents, and critical situations, then dispatch the appropriate personnel and/or notify site contacts based on established protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, helping to support accurate communication and continuity between teams.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
