Security Officer Access Control

As a Security Officer Access Control in Woodway, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role combines visible presence, routine site activity, and clear communication to help reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying credentials, authorizing entry, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities, follow post orders, and complete required reports related to access events, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
