As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Maiden, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Day Time Mon 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM Tue 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM Wed 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM Thur 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM Sun 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and/or other dispatch tools to help identify unusual activity and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent dispatch activity by receiving calls, prioritizing incidents, documenting details, and communicating updates to Allied Universal personnel and designated site contacts.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and status records related to calls for service, alarm activity, visitor concerns, and other security-related events.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by dispatching personnel to assigned areas, tracking coverage across the location, and reporting issues that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
