Security Officer Manufacturing Facility Overnight

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Waco, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support daily operations, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and assist with screening deliveries, contractors, and other authorized personnel according to site policies.
• Support order at the location by communicating with staff regarding policy-related issues, assisting with alarm and/or equipment observations, and following post instructions for after-hours and restricted-area coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
