Armed Security Officer Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Temple, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, shopping areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading zones for suspicious behavior, access concerns, and other security-related issues, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or emergency notifications during busy periods, special events, or unexpected situations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
